Solitude Trails is a platform for offbeat places in the Himalayan region that aims to help people find and create their own solitudes. From treks to homestays, we offer an array of experiences that will delight you. We are constantly on the lookout for new routes and attractions which we can share with our followers. We hope that our website offers you some peace and solitude, as well as a chance to explore this small part of the world!
We have a culture of doing what we love, every now and then, we break apart from our cubes and you may find us working at remote villages and river valleys
Imagine immersing into a place that is so beautiful that it evokes a sense of serenity and calmness in you. A nature so breathtakingly beautiful that it makes you forget your worries, your problems, your heartbreaks. Such a place exists in the Himalayas, nestled next to the Dhauladhar range of Himachal Pradesh, lies The Solitude Camp in Palampur.
It might sound out of reach, but if you have an adventurous heart and a zeal to explore then nothing is impossible. We started out with The Solitude Camp, the first boutique campsite in Palampur. The love we got there has motivated us to move a step forward and curate more exciting experiences in the Himalayas. Now we are on a mission to explore many such solitudes.
Our legacy is built on a group of travel aficionados from multiple regions of the Himalayas who are living in different parts of Himachal Pradesh. We have been exploring breathtaking destinations across the Himalayas for years, with our main office in Shimla and a branch office in Palampur.
Besides our love and passion for travel and the Himalayas, we also have professional expertise working in the tourism industry. Most of us have Master's degrees in Tourism management from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, and have spent many years working in the field. We bring our combined knowledge, contemporary experience, and wide-ranging skill set to every project.
