Day 1 Arrive Srinagar
Arrival in Srinagar and our representative will assist you in getting checked in the hotel. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens ( Pari Mahal, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chasme Shahi) and Shankaracharya temple. In the evening visit the renowned Dal Lake and enjoy the beautiful Shikara ride. Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.
Day 2 Srinagar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the historical city of Srinagar. Visit Hazrat bal shrine, Botanical garden, Jama masjid, Kheer Bhawani temple. Spend your evening at Dal lake. Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.
Day 3 Srinagar to Pahalgam ( 90 kms, 3 hrs )
After breakfast check out and explore the beautiful Liddar valley. Enroute visit the saffron fields, apple orchards and Awantipora ruins. Explore Aru Valley, Chandanwari and Betab valley. If time permits,you can also hike or take a pony ride to the beautiful meadow at Baisaran.
Upstream the Liddar river, Aru valley is noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains.Aru valley is the base for many popular treks like Tarsar Lake and Kolahoi glacier.
Betaab valley got its name from the popular bollywood movie Betaab. The valley is enroute Chandanwari and is popular for its lush green meadows, willow trees and snow clad mountains.
Chandanwari is the starting point to the alternate route to the popular hindu pilgrimage Amarnath Cave.
Overnight stay at Pahalgam.
Day 4 Pahalgam - Gulmarg - Srinagar ( 140 km, 4 hrs )
After breakfast, head to Gulmarg to explore the meadow of flowers. Located at an altitude of 2750 mts, Gulmarg is renowned for its beautiful meadow and winter sports activities. Visit the Maharani Temple, Gulmarg meadow and Gulmarg Gondola. Gulmarg has one of the highest and longest gondola in Asia, taking upto the height of 3950 mts near to the base of Apharwat peak. Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.
Day 5 Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar
After breakfast check out of the hotel and go out to explore Sonmarg, also called as the meadow of Gold. Sonmarg is located at an altitude of 2750 mts, and is mostly inaccessible in the winters due to heavy snowfall and Avalanches. The route to Sonmarg takes us on a picturesque drive, and goes through the lush green valleys, rolling mountains and beautiful rice fields.Pass through the small towns of Kangan, Mamar and Gagangir. Upon reaching Sonmarg, Take a pony ride or hike up to the Thajiwas glacier. Overnight stay at a houseboat in Srinagar.
Day 6 Tour Ends
Relish your breakfast and check out the hotel. Our driver would get you transferred from the hotel to the airport/bus/railway station for your onward journey.
